MMC Restaurant was born from a quiet dream and strong determination. Founded in 2024 by Mohamed Jalaludin, MMC reflects a bold transition from nearly a decade in the UK banking sector to the world of food and hospitality.
Though banking was his profession, the passion for food began during his MBA days and stayed alive over the years. In 2023, that passion turned into action. With no formal hotel background, Jalaludin invested time in learning—through crash courses, hands-on exposure, and real-world experimentation—before bringing MMC to life.
Starting as a cloud kitchen, MMC quickly gained love from IT professionals and local residents around Sholinganallur for its hygiene, unique starters, and unconventional yet flavourful biryani. Despite early doubts about its location, consistent quality and honest portions helped MMC grow through word-of-mouth.
With strong family support and trusted friends standing behind the vision, MMC evolved into a full-service restaurant—hosting celebrations, catering events, and everyday meals. Today, with a 4.8–4.9 Google rating, MMC stands as a trusted dining destination where passion, quality, and guest experience come together.
